Pizza who ever knew.
I mean really what are Pizza companies doing to me these days?
I very recently had a conversation with my Father on how many new ideas, or concepts can they come up with for Pizza. I mean we have Stuffed Crust Pizzas, Pizzas that come with six different cheeses, and 2 types of bacon, Pizzas that are topped with ingredients that I reserve for sandwiches. Such as a Cheese Steak, or a Buffalo chicken sandwich. What happened to the Old Fashioned Pizza I'm used to?
I finally to a step, and started using the extra items that they place in my Papa John's Pizza box. For years I wondered "why are they including peppers, and garlic Sauce with my Pizza"? It took me some time to muster up the nerve to try the Garlic sauce, and wow to my surprise the golden buttery liquid oozing all over my pizza somehow added a new dimension to it. It wasn't exactly the reinvention of Pizza for me it was however a new way for me to enjoy an old favorite.
That was until I learned from my Father that in fact what I was doing wasn't right. Or should I say in his opinion I wasn't eating the Pizza correctly. During our conversation my Father goes "yeah I love the Garlic Sauce they include in the box" to which I said at almost the same time I do as well. Then my Father goes there's nothing better then dipping the crust in now there's no need to throw the crust away. I had to say hold on Dad, you mean that's what they include the sauce for? He said well yeah son what did you think it was for. I informed him I pour it over my pizza slices and enjoy it quite well. We came to an agreement that night that both of our ways of eating Pizza may be correct.
The problem now is making sure we get extra Garlic Sauce containers when we order, I wonder is there an extra charge for that??
